I had to put a photo of myself and Krystle, my beautiful wife, as without her I would not be the photographer or the person I am today. Krystle started off assisting me but has now come on board full time and together we run Matthew Carr Photography.

We shared a common love for photography from day one and we feel like we bring all of our experiences to every shoot. There isn't a day that goes by without some form of photography in our lives. Nothing makes us happier than sharing a special day with you. Every wedding we shoot brings us closer and we feel that shows in our photographs and in the relationships we share with our clients. We put our love and passion into all aspects of our business and strive to deliver only the very best.

We have over 10 years experience now and have shot over 400 weddings. We KNOW and LOVE weddings. We want you to have the best day of your life!

We hope you like our website and would love to hear from you. We are based in Cape Town, but have shot weddings all around the country and we are happy to travel.

For the last 4 years we have been able to accommodate more clients and give them beautiful images and memories, by having an amazing team! Most of of team have been with us for years and we are blessed to have such a talented group of photographers to represent our name. Our team are all wedding photographers and have been in the industry for years. They love weddings just as much as we do! Our photographers are all creative, easy going and our clients really enjoy working with them all! To keep to the style and look of our photography, our team of photographers only shoot on the wedding day and we still edit all your wedding photos.
